I rode a bike into a swimming pool once by accident. Am I allowed in?

Absolutely. But you have to create an account on Strava... You can also hike and run with Strava.

Too many accounts, too little care. Oh well.

It’s the thought that counts.

How is Strava? I commute by bike and do other riding too, but have never gotten into the tracking thing.

Compared to the zero other apps I’ve used, Strava’s great. You can establish segments and then get time and speeds over those segments, which I enjoy, as well as a time, distance and average speed over the entire ride. And Strava stores your rides and gives you a total. And it’s free.

Weird question, but all through your smartphone, right? I’m not a fitness tracker user.

Yes. Android or iOS.

Used Starva a bit while I was on my school’s cycling team, one it gets warm enough for me to go back out on a bike maybe I’ll join the club

Cool. I’ll post it again from time to time.

Cool. If I can program it into shaming me into going for rides it’d be perfect.

Shit now I have to start ridding again

I like that logo.
I don’t use Strava, though (not to mention my continued desire to not doxx myself here on Oppo). But the app I do use is pretty cool. It does splits, average speed, top speed, elevation, etc. just like Strava and I like that it calls out your current stats at regular intervals. Plus, I got a top tube bag very similar to this:
It’s great for being able to see and hear the app doing its thing (though I keep the screen off while I ride).
I just recently got a cycling computer so I can try to save my phone’s battery and data usage, but I haven’t been out for a ride with it yet. I’d really just like to get a handheld GPS unit instead. The batteries last longer and I’d use it for geocaching, too. Plus, you can upload the data from them into fitness tracking apps.
Technology, eh?

Strava is probably the best app for bike ridding and running. It is also comparable with Garmin devices.

I have no space in the basement for the trainer, but I do ride when its not fricken freezing out.
I used Mapmyride a couple times, but not often or consistently.
